Preparation:

As part of preparation, Tritusa completed the following activities:

Relationships were established with all relevant teams.

Project objectives and relevant changes were understood.

Test cases reviewed and suggestions made in relation to performance testing.

Relevant teams were approached for user concurrency and volumes extraction from production.

Completed test cases grouping and concurrency/volumes calculation per script.

Planning and Scripting:

Tritusa’s performance test consultants worked collaboratively with the Accenture’s stakeholders to prioritise and finalise the testing scope based on business process criticality, high transactional or user volumes and hot spot performance. As part of scripting:

• Manual verification of each of the test cases was completed prior to scripting
• Scripts were completed with business logic and timing
• Scripts validated with single user, multipleuser and multiple iterations
• Multiple utility scripts were created to help with data preparation, user validation and clean.

Test Scenario:

• Individual test script executed and baseline established with 1 user 10 iterations.
• Standard Load and Peak Load executed with production like user concurrency/volumes.
• Data types identified and validated with test user’ access and roles in the system, missing data was created such as leave requests, timesheets for approval.
