I am the founder of Tritusa. My IT consulting career began 19 years ago, and now I have extensive experience in IT consulting and delivering large and complex enterprise projects. My core skills are test management & governance, SAP test consulting & advisory, test automation & engineering and performance engineering. I have successfully delivered many projects to both government clients including Transport for NSW, Office of State Revenue, NSW Department of Customer Services, NSW Trains, Department of Transport, Denmark, and corporate clients including Deloitte Australia, Suncorp, Ausgrid, Qantas, Virgin Blue, Siemens Energy & Automation - USA, Nortel- Canada and Lucent both here in Australia and internationally.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two children as well as playing cricket, obviously being Sri Lankan!
Founder’s Journey:
After graduating in IT from the University of Sri Lanka, I began my professional career in IT in Colombo, Sri Lanka. I’m proud to say that I worked with some of the finest minds that I had ever come across.
In 2007, my wife and I jointly decided to migrate to Australia (the world of Kangaroos under the skilled migration category and landed in Australia in 2008 (during the global financial crisis. When I arrived in Australia, I wanted to do something substantial in the IT industry to follow my passion for IT consulting and software testing, but I still needed to refine my skills and understand more about Australian culture and people. During the first three years in Australia, I worked on some of the most exciting consulting projects, technologies, and innovation.
In 2011, I decided to follow my passion (at the age of 32 - it’s never too late) and started my own IT consulting company ‘Tritusa’ (tri-tu-sha), with the inspiration from the company I worked in my past (Virtusa – I’m still proud to be an ex-Virtusan).
But it wasn’t easy. I stayed awake until the late hours of the night. Wrote many ideas that ended up in the ‘yellow’ bin.
What I have learnt as a secret of success in IT consulting is to be honest, and transparent to your customers. So, it became Tritusa’s values: “Transparency and honesty are integral ingredients of our internal as well as external communication.”
When I reflect on the growth of Tritusa, we may not be the largest IT company, but certainly, we are best known for delivering customer values, achieving the most excellent customer satisfaction and gaining customer trust and confidence.
But most importantly, I keep on chasing my big aspirations! So, you can too!

COVID-19 affected every citizen in the entire world but it gave us the perfect opportunity to innovate us, changed the way we operate.

We understand that getting a business to its 10th birthday is only the beginning and another milestone in our business journey but long way to go.
